The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3dCaptain Maze braced his stance to keep from falling back as the ship once again burst into sudden motion. After making planetfall and travelling for a short time, they had been sitting tight, which meant they were in position and waiting for the shield to drop. The sudden acceleration indicated that that had happened and that they were on their way inside. Of course, it could also mean they’d been spotted…The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3d by zang-zip
Maze’s gut felt the giddy sensation of a quick drop in altitude. That’s us coming over the ridge into the caldera. We’re in. A moment later, the lights in the cabin flicked back on and there were two hard bangs on the cockpit door. The crew chief, Sergeant Ten, banged his fist against the bulkhead, repeating the signal back to the pilots and roared, “Buckets on boys! Charge it all up!”
The familiar wash of adrenaline pulsed through Maze’s veins as he sealed his helmet back in place
The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3cSkorr hustled across the air field toward the control tower, passing under the wings of one of the massive C-9979 cargo ships along the way. The four winged, antique-looking aircrafts took up an entire quadrant of the tarmac, and until General Grievous sent reinforcements to clear the Republic blockade, there was no way to get rid of them. They would continue to sit empty of clones and empty of use.The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3c by zang-zip
He entered the code into the key pad of the tower’s ground floor and walked past the turbolift to the stairwell. The lift was broken, just like everything else on base. Just as well. One entrance made it easy to secure the control room, and in a pinch, Skorr knew he could call on the Force to survive the thirty meter jump from the top. The tower was a ludicrously exposed place to be in modern warfare, but with the shield dome up and running, he was safe from all enemy fire. It also gave him an unobstructed view of the airfield, the city

Tipoca City, Kamino, five years before the Battle of Geonosis
Garrett Carr walked with the slightest limp down the stark, white corridors to his domicile. It had been the first time in a while that he’d run drills in full armor, and his muscles hadn’t been quite up to the sudden switch. Stang, I’m getting old. How did that happen?
Garrett still hadn’t gotten used to how eerily quiet things were here at night in Tipoca City, not to mention just how white it was. All in all, the past two and a half years had felt much more like a prison sentence in a hospital than a real deployment on an alien world. That’s what it is though. This is still a real merc contract, and the creds are most definitely still real. He’d been telling himself that a lot lately.
He was passing the last junction in the corridor before reaching his block of apartments when

PLEASE CHECK IF YOUR IMAGE IS IN THE RIGHT FOLDER!
-Suggest a fav: Again it's the big dark bar on the frontpage. Click on "Suggest a fav" and pick the one you want to send us.
-The Gallery: Please only submit your work directly to the corresponding folders, not to Featured. This one is reserved for the ID, which cannot be displayed on the frontpage otherwise, since we are so super-group. IF you are not sure which folder your work belongs to or if your work doesn't fit anywhere fell free to ask for help or request a new folder.
-Favourites: Everybody can suggest a favourite for the group, but founder and co-founder have to vote on it first. Only if both of them agree it will be added to the group's favourites. This way we want to avoid adding works of our members to the favs.
-Member-status: Alltogether there are three different kinds of members: founder, co-founder and members. When someone joins us they automatically are members, nobody has access tothe other two categories. "Contributors" and "admins" don't exist so far; we dont need a third admin yet and we still need to discuss the contributor-status.
The Mandalorians and the Clone soldiers are property of George Lucas and his companies - we just say that to make sure... *lol*
