Family TimeFire crackled in the hearth, bathing the karyai in a warm, golden glow. Outside a cold Northern wind screamed around the eves and clawed at the shutters but failed to rattle the windows in their solid casings. Icy snowflakes tinkled sadly on the window panes, barely audible over the creak creak of the rocking chair in the corner. On the mantel piece an ancient clock tolled the ten o’clock hour in slightly discordant chimes. The clan had gathered in the big room to enjoy the peaceful hours between dinner and sleep.Family Time by mighty-mando
Arani sat on one end of the over-stuffed couch, Janri cross-legged on the floor, playing with the pretty knife her father had given her. Arani was braiding her daughter’s hair. The girl had spent the day with Laaran Senar, the dark-skinned, wild-haired assassin who lived across the lake, and had come home with the urge to wear dreadlocks of her own. Arani had had a serious talk with her about the necessary steps to achieve the look and the ultimate limitati
The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 4bThe ARC held up three fingers, signaling a countdown, and ticked them off. Three, two, one, GO! Lock pulled one of the transparisteel doors open a half meter and Heke tossed one det at the windows deep into the room, then the other a bit closer. Lock slammed the door shut and they both pressed themselves against the walls. He felt the shock wave of the first muffled explosion deep in his chest. The second blast shattered the doors and the next thing he knew he was in the room, boots crunching over debris and blaster pistol raised, searching for anything left standing. Heke vaulted up and over the front desk, running in a low crouch to the windowed wall opposite them. The plasma rounds from his WESTAR lit the room up with blue flashes as he fired controlled bursts into black armored shapes that were attempting to pick themselves up off of the floor. Lock saw the silhouettes of two spindly B1 battled droids that were standing next toThe Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 4b by zang-zip
The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 4aLock looked past the holographic targeting screen and through the transparisteel canopy at the empty streets of the caldera city. Nobody out and about. Looks like the Seps do have that curfew in affect. Good. With martial law declared over the city, their night op should attract less attention and limit civilian casualties. Should. Returning his gaze to the targeting screen, Lock tracked their progress towards their landing zone. “Two klicks to LZ, Lieutenant, and all still quiet.”The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 4a by zang-zip
Lock watched the top of Captain Wake’s head bob in acknowledgement. “Alright boys, approaching target,” the pilot said, speaking through his helmet’s comm. to the team on the flight deck. “We’ll try to get you to ground, but have those lines ready to fast-rope down if it ends up being a tighter fit than we---“
Two solid impacts thudded against the roof, rocking the ship as a group of seven STAPs
The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3bMaze pitched forward into the trooper in front of him as his gut experienced the familiar sensation of transitioning from hyperspace back to real space. The crowded deck of the LAAT/i was momentarily filled with a jumble of clattering armor as the seventeen assorted troopers and commandos were lurched into one another. It was standing room only, and they had already been on their feet for a long time. The Clone Wars: Containment - Chapter 3b by zang-zip
Before disembarking from the Judicious, Maze had been faced with the unfortunate reality of logistics. He needed to get one hundred and forty-one clones, four gunships, and all of their equipment onto one troop transport. CR-25s were spacious, freighter-sized ships that were designed to accommodate entire platoons and their heavy equipment. Cramming an entire company into one, however, was out of the question. He had originally hoped to procure several of the stealth-equipped ships, but he’d made an enemy of himself with the technicians whe

Sweat dripped down Tol Skorr’s forehead and into his right eye, but he didn’t dare blink. His opponents were good. Four of them were spread out, circling him warily. He dropped the tip of his lightsaber a centimeter, faked a glance to the left, and that was all it took. All four opponents moved as one, closing in on him and swinging metal staffs with blinding speed. They would have had him in an instant, had it not been for the precognitive aid of the Force and the skills he had honed in sparring sessions with Count Dooku, Sora Bulq, and Assaj Ventress, master duelists of the highest caliber.
Skorr’s lightsaber moved in a blur, parrying precise thrusts and vicious swings aside. His blade found the open face of one opponent, then the unguarded thigh of another. The two left standing pressed in from front and behind, intent on crushing him in

PLEASE CHECK IF YOUR IMAGE IS IN THE RIGHT FOLDER!
-Suggest a fav: Again it's the big dark bar on the frontpage. Click on "Suggest a fav" and pick the one you want to send us.
-The Gallery: Please only submit your work directly to the corresponding folders, not to Featured. This one is reserved for the ID, which cannot be displayed on the frontpage otherwise, since we are so super-group. IF you are not sure which folder your work belongs to or if your work doesn't fit anywhere fell free to ask for help or request a new folder.
-Favourites: Everybody can suggest a favourite for the group, but founder and co-founder have to vote on it first. Only if both of them agree it will be added to the group's favourites. This way we want to avoid adding works of our members to the favs.
-Member-status: Alltogether there are three different kinds of members: founder, co-founder and members. When someone joins us they automatically are members, nobody has access tothe other two categories. "Contributors" and "admins" don't exist so far; we dont need a third admin yet and we still need to discuss the contributor-status.
The Mandalorians and the Clone soldiers are property of George Lucas and his companies - we just say that to make sure... *lol*
